True Blood

We watched the first episode of True Blood, the new HBO series based on the Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris. My wife and I have enjoyed these books since I came across them via Amazon’s insidious recommendation feature. The opening episode was encouraging; introducing well cast characters, setting up the situation, and following the opening of the first book. I hope that it continues to impress. I also hope that the third seasons of Dexter and Heroes keep well clear of Selachimorpha acrobatics.

  1. I did really like the series. But for those of you reading… it is VERY sexual. If you are offended easily, this is not the show for you.

  2. Who needs porn, eh?

  3. True Blood resembles Heroes at first glance (just rented the first episode from Blockbuster), though it still feels mostly original… for some reason this show makes me want to eat Cajun food and drink cheap beer
