Main Street

There seems to be a certain lack of imagination in the US for street naming. The nearby city of Benicia has B Street running along the shore line, with D, E, F, G, etc streets running parallel as you move inland. At 90 degrees to these is 1st street which is flanked on one side by East 2nd Street and on the other is East 3rd Street. Fairfield does better, but it still falls back on using the names of US States, Presidents, and famous Congressmen.
